The Club allows you to order online, receive our lowest, regular mark-up price and your purchase will be waiting for you to pick-up with minimum effort. The new Harvest Market in Mendocino is located on Lansing Street and in Fort Bragg at the Boatyard Shopping Center, overlooking the junction of Highway 20 and State Highway 1, just south of the Noyo River Bridge. Here you can take the word harvest in its literal sense - for a harvest of locally grown, organic, vegetarian and gourmet products line the aisles. Owners Tom and Penny Honer and their superb staff truly reflect what a community based "mom and pop" market should be - to serve the health and interests of their community.
The Harvest Markets are the largest ocean view markets on the north coast. At the Fort Bragg store a full service deli serving natural and vegetarian selections at the counter and at their soup, salad and hot food bar. In addition, there is a sushi bar where delicacies are created as you watch, and a gourmet olive bar next to the international and domestic artisan cheese counter. Both full service meat departments feature a large assortment of traditional, organic and all natural meats. The fish market showcases ocean and freshwater fish, and the knowledgeable attendant will let you know which were caught by local fishermen. In the produce section you will find a large selection of organic fruits and vegetables, many grown in Mendocino County. Harvest at Mendosas also offers a home repair section with hardware and automotive needs.
Harvest has its own bakery, creating fresh baked breads and pastries daily, as well as a wedding cake decorator on staff. Award-winning cookbook author and chef Margaret Fox heads up the culinary department. The Harvest Market wine department carries the most complete local Mendocino County wine selection on the coast, boasting a large selection of wines created from organic and biodynamically grown grapes. For natural supplements, skin and hair care and homeopathic remedies, Harvest has aisles of selections. Both Markets are open daily with the Fort Bragg Harvest from 5am till 11pm and Harvest Mendosas from 7:30am till 10pm. Local delivery is available and there is a food buying club.
