Located on Main Street in Fort Bragg, California next door to Cowlick’s Ice Cream Parlor and Estrella’s sister restaurant Taka’s Japanese Grill is a this popular “mom n pop” owned Mexican Restaurant. Your enthusiastic hostess is owner Maria Takanao. Maria loves Fort Bragg “because it is quiet and the people are so friendly”. At Estrella’s you can dine on authentic Mexican dishes, including chili rellenos, huevos rancheros, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, tamales, homemade soaps (soups) and salads. The tortillas and salsa are made fresh daily. You’ll also find American dishes on the menu, like hot dogs and chili dogs. Mexican breakfasts are served with beans and corn tortillas and choices include eggs with green chilis, tomatoes and onion, eggs with Nopales (cactus) green chili, tomatoes and onion, breakfast burritos, and huevos con chorizo.
